$17.75 million project to help bridge “digital divide”

PICKENS COUNTY — Underserved areas of Pickens County in parts of the Liberty, Dacusville and Six Mile areas will soon have access to broadband internet through internet service provider, Upcountry Fiber, a partnership between Blue Ridge Electric Co-op (BREC) and WCFIBER.

EASLEY — An Easley man has been accused of ramming an SUV into the front gate barrier of the FBI’s Atlanta office and then running toward the building, according to law enforcement officials.
