LIBERTY — Liberty High School will host a STEM Manufacturing Day from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 15 so juniors can learn about careers in manufacturing from some of the premier manufacturers in Pickens County.
Alliance Pickens helped organize the event.
“We are excited about the opportunity our juniors have to learn from these local companies,” said Josh Oxendine, principal at Liberty High School. “STEM education is a very important part of our curriculum in Pickens County so these companies represent a lot of possibilities for our students as they prepare to further their educations and enter the workforce.”
Representatives from the following companies will be at LHS:

• United Tool and Mold
• Wilbert Plastics
• Tri County Technical College
• Tri Tech USA
• Reliable Sprinklers
• Work Keys
