TRAVELERS REST – The fourth annual Art on the Trail Fine Art and Craft Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 24 at Trailblazer Park, and throughout downtown Travelers Rest.

Art on the Trail, presented by the Travelers Rest Artists Alliance (TRAA), celebrates the arts with engaging and entertaining activities, performances and demonstrations. Admission is free.

Activities this year include fine arts and crafts market, with around 75 vendors, live music, Art of Food area with cooking demonstrations and food trucks, and Kids on the Trail children’s activities and exhibits.

More artists than ever before are participating in The Art Market this year. This is the centerpiece of Art on the Trail, and is located at Trailblazer Park, the region’s newest performing and cultural arts venue.

Visitors can access the festival from the Swamp Rabbit Trail, and can navigate easily from downtown Travelers Rest. The Trailblazer Park Pavilion will be the focus of Art of Food demonstrations and food trucks. A full line-up of musicians and performers will be playing the amphitheater.

Art on the Trail is not just confined to the park. Local schools choirs and drama groups, as well as local musicians and artists, will be in pop-up locations around downtown Travelers Rest. Look for performances in the Gazebo on South Main Street and at other locations around the city.
