Pickens joins Daniel, Wren, Powdersville in first round of playoffs

PICKENS COUNTY — Pickens High School, Daniel High School, Wren High School and Powdersville High School all have made the playoffs for the 2015 football season and will be on the road this Friday night in the first round.

The Pickens Blue Flame will play Seneca, the Daniel Lions will face South Pointe and Wren will travel to Lancaster for its first round game, all in 3A action. Powdersville, in Class AA, will head to Fairfield County to take on Fairfield Central High School on Friday night.

The S.C. High School League announced playoff pairings on Saturday. Upper and Lower State brackets are out for 1A, 2A, and 3A tournaments. The brackets for 4A will be released at a later date.
