CLEMSON — The City of Clemson began work on the Tiger Boulevard Retaining Wall on June 16 to secure the slope between Tiger Boulevard and Reid Street. Intermittent lane closures will occur throughout the duration of the project. Lane closures will be limited to the eastbound right lane of Tiger Boulevard next to Reid Street.

The S.C. Department of Transportation will be working with the City to eliminate storm water runoff from Reid Street that has been contributing to the erosion of the slope. This will be done by resurfacing a section of Reid Street and installing new storm water infrastructure.

The project is anticipated to take 90 days to complete. No work will be performed July 3 and July 4.
