Feb. 27

7 a.m.-1 p.m.: St. Andrew United Methodist Church, 308 Pelzer Highway in Easley, holds its 13th annual yard sale sponsored by the Lucille Searcy Women’s Circle. Proceeds are used for local mission projects.

Feb. 28

4 p.m.: Cold Spring Baptist Church, 178 Rosman Road in Pickens, holds its 100 Women in Red celebration. The theme is Boldness Through the Blood of Jesus. Terra Parisi Williams of Griffin Ebenezer Baptist Church in Pickens is the guest speaker.


Lenten services are held at noon March 1 at Grace United Methodist Church, March 8 at Seventh Day Adventist Church and March 15 at Faith Lutheran Church. Each service will be followed by a light meal. All services are sponsored by the Pickens Ministerial Association and are open to the community.

Ongoing events

Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Easley, 101 E. 1st Ave. in Easley, holds Bible Study from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. each Monday.
