4 p.m.: New Foundation Missionary Baptist Church, 556 Lenhardt Road in Easley, celebrates its annual Missionary Ministry Day. Sarah Simmons of Spartanburg is the guest speaker. Music will be by NuHeart Community Choir.

March 27

2 p.m.: The Lucille Searcy Circle Methodist Women of St. Andrew United Methodist Church holds a Royal Tea Party at the church’s Family Life Center, 309 Pelzer Highway in Easley. Tickets are $5. Proceeds will be used to support missions. Call 864-859-1567 for more information or to order tickets.

April 24

6 p.m.: Tanglewood Pentecostal Holiness Church, 127 Tanglewood Road in Pickens, holds a Pentecostal Worship event featuring guest speaker Bishop A. L. Burdine of New World Outreach Ministries Center in Greenville.


Lenten services are held at noon March 15 at Faith Lutheran Church. Each service will be followed by a light meal. All services are sponsored by the Pickens Ministerial Association and are open to the community.

Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Easley, 101 E. 1st Ave. in Easley, holds Bible Study from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. each Monday.
