PELZER — West Pelzer Elementary held its first Palomino Trot 5K recently and families competed in either a one-mile fun run or a 5K run.
Winners were recognized in both the student and adult categories. All students competed for free and received a book and a banana afterwards, along with a bag and water bottle. Local businesses in the area supported the event as Palomino Partners.
