CENTRAL — A 54-year-old Central man has been charged with having sex with a female juvenile on numerous occasions over a nine-year period stemming back to 2000.
The Pickens County Sheriff’s Office started an investigation on Aug. 18 and found that David Allen Marchbanks, address listed as 119-A Eloise Drive in Central, began sexually molesting a girl in January 2000 when she was 4-years-old and continued until January 2009.
The incidents occurred at multiple residence in Pickens County over the nine-year period.
Marchbanks was charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor. He remained in the Pickens County Detention Center on Wednesday with no bond having been set by the Magistrate.
