CENTRAL — Featuring a “tale as old as time,” Disney’s Beauty and the Beast is coming to Southern Wesleyan University March 15-17.

The beloved musical will be filled with the classic songs of Alan Menken, Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, University officials stated.

“With such beautiful music and amazing costumes, this will be an engaging and family-friendly evening,” they said.

Performances will take place at Newton Hobson Chapel and Fine Arts Center auditorium at 7:30 p.m. March 15 and 16 along with two performances Saturday, March 17 — a matinee at 2 p.m. and an evening performance at 7:30 p.m.
