PICKENS COUNTY — The Liberty Community Exchange, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to serving our community, is proud to announce our upcoming Back to School Shop Days for Pickens County students in grades 6–12.
The event will take place on July 25 and July 26 and is designed to help local students start the school year with confidence by providing free clothing and personal hygiene items to families in need.
This community-wide effort is made possible through partnerships with local businesses, churches, community organizations, volunteers, and supporters who have generously donated items and funds to help our students succeed. We are also grateful for the support of the City of Liberty and the United Way of Pickens County as we work together to make a positive impact on the lives of local families.
Our goal is simple: to ensure that every student has access to basic necessities so they can focus on learning and achieving their goals during the upcoming school year.
We are currently accepting donations of new and gently used clothing, shoes, and personal hygiene products. Community members interested in supporting this effort can make donations at the Liberty Community Exchange Market, located at 400 Anderson Drive in Liberty, on Saturdays from 9 a.m. until noon.
