PICKENS COUNTY — An Easley father and son are in jail on charges that they engaged in sexual acts with three different victims under the age of 11 during a 20-month period, according to the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office.

Jason Riley Galloway, 34, was arrested Tuesday at the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office while attending a routine Sex Offender Registration appointment, according to a release from the PCSO.

He has been charged three counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor. Bond was denied on all three charges.

His father, 63-year-old Rickie Freeman Galloway, was also arrested Tuesday while providing a ride for his son. He was charged with one count of first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor. Bond was denied.

According to the PCSO:

On Aug. 22, the Sheriff’s Office initiated an investigation into information that a child had been sexually molested on multiple occasions.

The investigation revealed that from January 2016 to August, Jason Riley Galloway and Rickie Freeman Galloway had engaged in sexual acts with three different victims who were under the age of 11.

It is believed that all of the incidents occurred at private residences and the events did not involve any type of abduction by a stranger but rather a situation where the two men were known by the victims.

Both men are currently detained within the Pickens County Detention Center.
