CENTRAL — Roger Ciskie went from selling shoes to leading a Fortune 500 company with more than 25,000 employees. He then invested his retirement in serving Jesus internationally.

Ciskie recently spoke at Southern Wesleyan University in Central about what it means to be a godly leader.

He also shared his experiences of bringing fresh drinking water to villages in Sudan and helping women escape human trafficking in Cambodia.

Ciskie has creatively spread the Gospel in North Korea, spoken to more than 300,000 in India, and has taught spiritual leadership in the U.S. prison system.

The university’s Division of Religion brought Ciskie to ALIVE Chapel, located at the Nicholson-Mitchell Christian Ministry Center.
