LIBERTY — With a successful run already in the bag, the Pickens County Performing Arts Center is looking forward to entering week two of the production of Sanders Family Christmas, Smoke on the Mountain Part II.

They play, which is running from Dec. 7 -10 will feature Nanny Faye from reality TV’s Chrisley Knows Best on the Dec. 8 and 9 show dates as a guest performance.

Sanders Family Christmas is the sequel to Connie Ray and Alan Bailey’s wildly successful bluegrass gospel musical Smoke on the Mountain, stated Pickens County media contact Sharon Johnson.

The story is set on Dec. 24, 1941 as America is going to war.

Also heading overseas is Dennis Sanders, of the Sanders Family Singers. Pastor Mervin Oglethorpe and the rest of the Sanders family send Dennis off with hilarious and touching stories.

Incorporated into the performance is 25 Southern Gospel Christmas favorites.

“Nanny Faye will entertain guests with her special wit and charm seen across the globe as she dishes out advice on the family reality TV show,” stated Johnson. “Pickens County Council Chairman, Roy Costner, plays a leading role in the musical and you may also recognize other familiar facing from our Upstate acting community.”

Tickets are $10 for adults with children under 12 free.
