Media are quiet about Russia colluding with American officials

Before Peter Schweizer’s book, “Clinton Cash,” was published, the New York Times ‘broke’ the story connecting Russian corruption with the Clinton Foundation April 23, 2015, regarding the sale of 20 percent of America’s uranium to Russia: “Cash Flowed to Clinton Foundation Amid Russian Uranium Deal.”

I cited this story in a column in December 2016.

This past week John Solomon and Alison Spann broke the story again in The Hill, adding a number of new cast members at the highest government levels in America and Russia.

The plot of the story goes something like this: Hillary Clinton became Secretary of State during President Obama’s first term; she initiated a “reset” with Russia; Russia commissioned Vadim Mikerin to oversee Putin’s nuclear expansion inside the U.S.; a few kickbacks here, a few approvals to do business there, and before anyone knew it the Obama administration approved the sale of 20 percent of America’s uranium to Russia.

According to the 2015 NYT’s article cited above, “As the Russians gradually assumed control of Uranium One in three separate transactions from 2009 to 2013, Canadian records show, a flow of cash made its way to the Clinton Foundation. Uranium One’s chairman used his family foundation to make four donations totaling $2.35 million. Those contributions were not publicly disclosed by the Clintons, despite an agreement Mrs. Clinton had struck with the Obama White House to publicly identify all donors.”

The article then noted that, “shortly after the Russians announced their intention to acquire a majority stake in Uranium One, Mr. Clinton received $500,000 for a Moscow speech from a Russian investment bank with links to the Kremlin that was promoting Uranium One stock.”

The visuals are stunning: Obama administration, State Department, Uranium One, and Russian investment bank with links to the Kremlin aka Putin.

Solomon and Spann’s article brought out some titillating connections in this story about Hillary and Obama giving 20 percent of America’s uranium to Putin. Solomon and Spann document FBI, Energy Department, and court documents showing a web of collusion between Russian and American officials and businesses starting in 2009. Interestingly, Department of Justice investigation of these shenanigans was supervised by U.S. Attorney Rod Rosenstein who now serves as President Trump’s deputy attorney general, and then-Assistant FBI Director Andrew McCabe who is now deputy FBI director.

As you may have learned from any source except CNN, MSNBC, or other leftist-hardcore-progressive organization, Rosenstein and McCabe play key roles investigating allegations of collusion between Trump’s campaign and Russia.

Icing on the cake: Robert Mueller who is now special counsel in charge of investigating Russia-Trump collusion allegations was Director of FBI in 2009. By the way, investigation of the Russia-Clinton Foundation connections ended in late 2015 under the direction of FBI Director James Comey. Can’t make this stuff up!

Ronald Hosko, assistant FBI director in charge of criminal cases during this time told The Hill, “I had no idea this case was being conducted.” Former Congressman Mike Rogers (R-MI), chair of House Intelligence Committee during this time “told The Hill that he had never been told anything about the Russian nuclear corruption case even though many fellow lawmakers had serious concerns about the Obama administration’s approval of the Uranium One deal.

Have you noticed how quiet the media has become about Russia colluding with American officials?
