Day camps
PICKENS — Summer day camps are being held for youth ages 6 to 12 at the Pickens Recreation Center, 545 Sangamo Road.
Remaining one-week sessions are July 20 to July 24, July 27 to July 31, Aug. 3 to Aug. 7 and Aug. 10 to Aug. 14. All sessions will be from 7:30 .m. to 5:30 p.m.
The cost is $70 per child plus late registration will cost an additional $35. The cost will be $40 per child for a half week and the fee will be adjusted for additional siblings for the full week.
Breakfast and lunch will be furnished through the S.C. Department of Education’s Summer Feeding Program. Each week will include on-site activities that will cover sports, movies, water days, games, bike days, arts and crafts and more.

SWU camps
CENTRAL – Southern Wesleyan University is hosting camps or clinics this summer for basketball, soccer and volleyball.
A boys and girls day camp will be held July 20-23. During those same dates a team soccer camp will take place. Volleyball will wrap up the summer with their camp July 27-30.
Individual basketball lessons for girls basketball players will also be available throughout the summer by appointment.
