Mullens police have arrested two men on drug-related charges.

According to Police Chief Ray Toler, Tyrone Miller of Mullens was charged with two counts of delivery of a controlled substance (roxycodone).

Miller was taken into custody in a traffic stop, Toler reported, which resulted in three more charges of possession with intent to deliver suboxone and oxycodone.

Officers also arrested Andrew Canterbury of Mullens, the driver of the vehicle, on two counts of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.

A search warrant was exected at Miller’s residence, where officers recovered several unmarked bottles of pills and drug paraphernalia, Toler indicated.

Mullens police were assisted by the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Department.

Miller and Canterbury were transported to Southern Regional Jail.

Toler reported that it was the third search warrant executed in recent weeks and is part of an ongoing drug investigation.
