Sentinel Progress

Stand down, Emeril. There’s some new chefs in town!

Congratulations to the winners of the 2018 School District of Pickens County Culinary Competition!

Adysen Griffith from Chastain Road Elementary won the Healthy Salad Competition for elementary school students and K’Lynn Bell from Daniel High School won the Healthy Sandwich Competition for secondary school students.

Finalists from each school competed at the Pickens County Career & Technology Center for this year’s cook-off.

The winners’ recipes will be added to the school lunch menus next year.

Congrats to the winners!
