EASLEY — The Easley Friends of the Library invites you to spend an evening with Angie Mosier, noted cookbook author, stylist and photographer at 7 p.m. Oct. 26 at the Hampton Memorial Library in Easley.

Mosier will discuss her love of making food, making it look good for the camera, and her 20 year culinary career.

It all started with a wedding cake and pastry business, and has evolved into work as a food stylist and professional photographer. But what’s most important to Mosier is the story of food, told through both words and visuals.

She’ll share her story and discuss how you can document your own cookbook story.

Mosier has co-authored and photographed several cookbooks including Chef Eric Ripert’s most recent book, Avec Eric, based on the Emmy Award-winning PBS show of the same name. Copies of her cookbooks will be available for purchase and signing. Bring your oldest cookbook for a chance to win a signed copy of one of her cookbooks.

The event is free to the public. Visit www.placematproductions.com or call the library at 850-7077 for more information.
